The team has spent more than ten years researching and upgrading the theory of parametric accurate finite element modeling for threaded parts, and developed Thread Designer, a parametric accurate finite element modeling software for all kinds of bolts, in which the team is the first to create the accurate model of most special threads, which is in the leading position in the world.
Software Function: Parametric generation of accurate thread profile mesh of any type, size, transition and arrangement, which significantly reduces the threshold of accurate simulation of fastened connections and improves the computational efficiency of numerical analysis of threaded connections. At the same time, it helps engineers and technicians with the foundation of finite element analysis to carry out the design and verification of threaded connections, improve the efficiency of fastening connection design, reduce design costs, and improve structural safety and reliability.
Product Positioning: A finite element mesh generation tool (finite element pre-processing tool) to assist simulators in accomplishing accurate finite element simulation and analysis of threaded connections;
Advantages of using accurate finite element modeling of bolts for engineering applications:
- It can simulate the tightening process, study the influence of tightening methods, tightening tools, bolt parameters, etc. on the tightening process, and obtain the best tightening strategy with high speed, high efficiency and low cost.
- Simulation of loosening behavior facilitates the study of bolt loosening mechanism and anti-loosening measures.
