Course orientation: professional knowledge and skills training
Purpose of course training:
- Help the audience groups to master the thread mechanics, understand the various types of bolting design methods as well as the underlying logic and core ideas of the VDI 2230 guidelines.
- To help the audience groups understand and master the design principles, methods and processes of VDI 2230 High Strength Bolted Joint Structures, and to improve their design ability and capability.
- To help the audience groups learn and apply VDI 2230 Design Guide and Finite Element Simulation technology to provide high-precision verification and optimization of their designs, and to solve real-world engineering problems and challenges.
Program Advantages
The teaching team comes from universities and consists of professors, associate professors and postdoctoral fellows from Southwest Jiaotong University, who have decades of dedicated research in the field of micromotor tribology and fastening connection, have been active in the front line of fastening connection research for a long time, and have published a large number of results in the top international journals.
It is one of the few teams in China for accurate finite element simulation and analysis of fastening connections, and is the only team that has developed a commercial tool for accurate finite element parametric modeling of threaded components.
The presentation starts from thread mechanics, to the core logic of various bolted joint design guidelines, to the core idea of VDI 2230, and finally to the VDI 2230 design process supported by finite element simulation. The content of the lecture is from shallow to deep, from simple to concise, and covers a comprehensive range of content.
The calculation framework of VDI 2230 is disassembled in detail, the calculation logic of the guideline is reorganized, the key points and core parameters of the guideline are extracted, and the solution process is emphasized with specific cases.
In addition to this course, the teaching team also provides finite element simulation and analysis courses for fastening structures of different difficulty levels, and provides comprehensive technical services for design verification, simulation analysis and failure analysis of fastening structures, providing customers with a full set of solutions from multiple dimensions.
