For practitioners of finite element simulation with different abilities, we carry out different levels of finite element simulation and analysis courses for fastening system. To teach the practitioners the finite element pre-processing method of fastening connection system, the concept of mesh discretization, the simulation results of post-processing and other cutting-edge research content of institutions of higher learning, SCI top journals and research methods, to provide scientific research and technical support for the progress of the domestic fastening connection industry.

Purpose of course training:
- Helps audience groups master key concepts in thread profile analysis, model building, meshing and parametric modeling to solve accurate modeling problems for bolts.
- Help audience groups understand and master special thread profiles, material properties, optimization of tightening and assembly solutions, interface wear, and fatigue life prediction.
- To help the audience groups to learn the parts and process of replacing VDI 2230 high strength bolted joint structures with the accurate finite element method, and to improve the forward design capability and capacity of bolted joints.

The teaching team comes from universities and consists of professors, associate professors and postdoctoral fellows from Southwest Jiaotong University, who have decades of dedicated research in the field of micromotor tribology and fastening connection, have been active in the front line of fastening connection research for a long time, and have published a large number of results in the top international journals.
It is one of the few teams in China for accurate finite element simulation and analysis of fastening connections, and is the only team that has developed a commercial tool for accurate finite element parametric modeling of threaded components.
